Please address the German Embassy in Canberra direct for all enquiries about visas or migration and the German General Consulate in Melbourne for questions about taxes and pensions.

Access to the Internet at the German Club
How do I obtain Internet access at the German Club?
Purchase your login code (characters) at the Main Bar (AU$ 1 for 15 min., AU$ 2 for 30 min., AU$ 4 for 1 hour).
If the computer terminal is in standby mode and the screen is dark, 'jiggle' mouse to illuminate the computer screen.
Move cursor to 'Timecodes Login' window and use the keyboard to carefully type your Login characters. Make sure that lower case characters are selected. Click 'ok' with left mouse key.
Select Internet Explorer with Mouse pointer and double click with left mouse key to open the web browser window.
The internet will open the Australian Google home page. Type the adress of the site which you wish to access in the window showing 'http://'.
Please note:
The computer terminals offer only Internet access and no other facility, i.e. you cannot create or edit documents.
Should you choose to logout before the time you have purchased has expired, then keep your code so that you can return at any time in the future to use the remainder of your credit.

Bewegen Sie die Einfügemarke zum 'Timecodes Login'-Fenster und tippen Sie den Login-Code ein. Beachten Sie, dass die Umstelltaste auf Kleinschreibung eingestellt ist. Bestätigen Sie die Eingabe mit einem Linksklick auf 'ok'.
Wählen Sie mit dem Mouse-Zeiger den Internet Explorer aus, doppelklicken Sie auf das Icon, um den Web-Browser zu öffnen.
Die Verbindung mit dem Internet ruft die australische Eingangsseite von Google auf. Tippen Sie die Adresse der gewünschten Website in das Adressfeld mit der Bezeichnung 'http://'.

Die Rechner bieten als einzige Möglichkeit den Internetzugang, weshalb beispielsweise Dokumente weder erstellt noch bearbeitet werden können.
Sollten Sie sich vor dem Ablaufen Ihres Zeitguthabens abmelden, heben Sie den Login-Code auf, damit Sie sich mit diesem jederzeit wieder anmelden können, um die verbleibende Zeit nutzen zu können.
